so something’s been troubling me lately.

i am a singer and actress. it’s my LIFE. and all my life i’ve been going to an extremely nice (though public) school. but after performing in a play with 19 other kids that all go to performing arts schools, i’ve been thinking very hard about going to a performing arts school myself. the thing is, the school i go to (and the school i’ll be going to next year) offer really good theatre programs and opportunities, and ive made soooo many friends at my current school. my three best friends in the world all go to my school. it’s just…i can’t help but fantasize about going to a peforming arts school, but i’m worried about making new friends and talent and all the works. i need some help deciding. i have almost a year to choose, but it’s such a tough desicion. i LOVE my current school, i LOVE the people that go to it, but a performing arts school would offer me so much more and i’d be doing so much more of what i love to do. *makes “HELP!!” face*

ok let me re-phrase that, i read an article explaining about this school but i can not remember where it was based, the lack of colour and makeup forces you to establish an identity without having to rely on clothes

I’m a teacher, I studied Education, PE and Music. I now want to get a Masters. I would like to develop my arty side and get a Masters degree in Performing Arts. The Masters has to be one or two years. I’d like to focus more on Dance (not ballet). I want my Masters to be:
- Performing Arts/ Dance,
- At a great UK university (best?),
- 1 or 2 yrs. (What do I need to get in? Where is it at (I prefer London)?)
- More practice than theory,
- Forming in different areas of the Performing Arts: self development, teaching, therapy…

I’ve been interested in performing arts for years. I go to a performing arts school.
I’m 16 and starting college in september and I need to do my application forms and all that jazz.
Today I phoned my local college and spoke to the head of performing arts and she was really coc.ky. and when i was in the middle of saying something she went “okay then sorry bye” realllllly fast and before i could say another word she hung up. It made me angry.
Now I’m not sure if I should do the course, cause if the head is coc.ky then she’s probably trained the teachers to be like that too.
I don’t mind people being big headed as nearly everyone in that industry is. but co.ckiness grrrrrr.
I’m doing health and social and I was told i could do 2 courses as a lady took a liking to me.
Should I do performing arts or not?
I know I could easily leave but still.
