English language or lit a-level better for performing arts uni?

Im currently studying AS English language and AS English literature and I need to drop one of them in a few weeks but I don’t know which one!
I want to go to university to study performing arts but I do not know which English would look better as a full A-level.
In A2 English language we study accents and idiolect’s and in A2 English literature we study gothic stories, Shakespeare and various scripts from plays.

Which would be more suitable for performing arts?

High School Performing Arts budget cuts?

I want some insightful and well thought out responses to put in a paper for school. I PLAN ON SENDING THE PAPER TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND MY PRINCIPAL. So if you want to tell them what you think this is perfect. The reason for this is because our school’s arts funding got cut this year and i think it was an unwise decision.
