Questions about High School Of Performing Arts LaGuardia?

Im an artist and really wanna go to LaGuardia, im in 7th grader and next year im going to apply there but im so scared to death about what i need to do to get in and whats gonna happen when i get there for high school. does anyone know anything useful to tell me about the school,”maybe someone who goes there and can tell me what its like” i really wanna go there and not to the high school around where i live.
