haywuzhapnin asked:
i’m planning on going of to college in the fall of 2010 in violin performance. i came across Roosevelt university and i saw that they had an excellent faculty and that they have somewhat of a good reputation as a music school. But i really don’t have a clue about this school. Any experience as to what this school’s like? thanks

Lyndsy asked: A girl i saw in a talent show did this cool thing where she did a monologue sort of thing. she stood there and played all of the characters in her monologue at once by changing her voice and her posture.
i talked to her afterwards and she said it was a specific type of performing arts. I just cant remember what it was called and would like to know more.

Fuzzy Moo Moo asked: Okay, so I’m writing a story and it takes place at a performing arts school. I need a name for it though and these are what I’ve come up with.
This is the setup, I just need to fill in the blank:
__________ von StratTon School (should it be OF or FOR?) Performing Arts
These are the names I’m thinking:
- Portia (pronounced Porsha for anyone who doesn’t know)
- Harlow
- Elizabeth
- Laurel
- Louis (pronounced Louie)
What do you think? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Phillip asked:
I am a sophomore in I.B. and I have to volunteer for 75 hours. My brother when he went through I.B. he volunteered at a performing arts center and said it was really fun. I really want to volunteer there, but I’m not sure if I can. My school says that i need to be able to “Identify a social problem” but I don’t know what could be a social problem there.
Thanks,
Phillip

M asked:
I love music/singing and there’s an art school that I was interested in going to. They offer it as a minor and have performance ensembles and private singing lessons so I would be happy doing it as a minor considering all they offer. However, I was interested in a couple of different majors and can’t seem to make up my mind. I was also interested in design(fashion or jewelry) or maybe performing arts. But I really undecided! Can anyone please give me some advice?

Princess_Erika asked: Like, despite the fact that they are all about vocals, and dancing, and what not, do they have normal classes, like in regular schools, too?
i.e. english, history, etc.
